Music

Music is an integral, highly valued part of the worship.

• Pilgrim Church offers music of exceptional quality, especially for a congregation of its size
• Adult, youth and children’s choirs are open to all who love to sing
• Classical, gospel/spiritual, contemporary and praise music regularly enrich our experience of worship
• Special Christmas and Easter music has included Vivaldi’s Gloria, Handel’s Messiah (excerpts), John Rutter’s Gloria and Requiem
• The semi-annual Pilgrim-Petersen Concert series is endowed as a memorial to Betty Petersen, a long-time member of Pilgrim church, who derived much inspiration and joy from music. In remembrance of Betty’s love for music, the Petersen family has made possible a continuing series of free concerts each Spring and Fall.
