Mission

Our Church's Wider Mission makes use of our generous financial gifts, and sometimes our volunteer service, to support the compassionate outreach of the United Church of Christ to those in need, through established programs and in emergency circumstances throughout the nation and the world.

Mission and Service commitments are generously supported by time and nearly 15% of the church's operational budget.

• Community Ministry of Montgomery County
  Church members regularly provide meals for residents of the homeless shelter, backpacks filled with supplies for students starting a new school year, clothes for the distribution center, and financial support of the agency.

• Church World Service

Pilgrim members have put their skills to use helping repair storm-damaged homes in Honduras, Mississippi, and southern Maryland, and assisted impoverished communities in Puerto Rico.
